The governing body of the university’s daily administration and management is the Executive Board. The Executive Board bears responsibility for strategic policy and the general running of the IUR as a whole. The Executive Board answers its responsibilities to the Board of Governors. It is responsible for the external and social affairs, the effective management of finances, the accommodation, the moveable and fixed assets, and for the personnel policy and management, safety, health and other working conditions. It has the authority to make agreements and conduct legal transactions and conducts correspondence on behalf of the university. The Executive Board has a great number of responsibilities to the deans of the faculties. The deans, as integral managers, have final responsibilities for the total management of the faculties.
